Brad Morrison is a Texas Space Commissioner, investor, and aerospace executive with more than two decades of experience operating at the intersection of national security, emerging technologies, and capital markets. He was appointed in 2024 to the inaugural Texas Space Commission, where he helps guide strategy and investment for one of the fastest-growing space economies in the United States.
Brad is the Founder and CEO of Atlantis Industries, a company focused on protecting spacecraft and critical infrastructure from space weather and radiation threats. He also serves as Chief Financial Officer of Benchmark Space Systems, contributing to the advancement of in-space propulsion and the broader commercial space ecosystem.
In parallel, Brad is an investment banker specializing in aerospace, defense, and “hard tech” sectors, with deep experience in capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and scaling high-growth companies. His career spans Big 4 consulting, startup leadership, and corporate development, giving him a unique ability to bridge innovation with execution and financing.
A former U.S. Air Force officer, Brad brings a strong national security perspective to the evolving space domain. He has held leadership and advisory roles across organizations such as the Texas National Security Innovation Council, Business Executives for National Security, and the Texas Business Leadership Council, and previously served as honorary commander of the U.S. Air Force 67th Cyberspace Wing.
Brad is a distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Management, and holds a Master of Science in Telecommunications from Southern Methodist University. He also maintains multiple FINRA securities licenses, underscoring his deep expertise in financial markets and strategic investment.
